Dr Rebecca Pierrot

Dr. Rebecca Pierrot is a general adult psychia​trist and Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists with an interest in a range of psychiatric disorders.

Rebecca obtained a Bachelors of Biomedical Science and trained as a respiratory technician prior to gaining her medical degree at Griffith University on the Gold Coast. Rebecca embarked on a career in Psychiatry in 2011 following her passion for holistic, patient centred care with the patient, not the disorder as the focus of treatment.

Rebecca has a particular interest in the social, psychological and biomedical aspects of psychiatric disorders, and incorporates psychotherapy in her practice. She has experience with a wide range of disorders including depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, personality disorders, and psychosis.

Rebecca has strong roots locally in the Gold Coast community, having grown up here since childhood. She has a passion for giving back to her local community and uses her experience to help inform her practice.
